  • ...and the attacks start right away.
  • Well, it is just one attack, by Rabobank's Lars Boom, which has attracted six others on the way to the Sierra road climb.
  • As the climb starts, the peloton is in perfect formation.
  • The break is nearing the steeper parts near the top...
  • ...where the several minute lead will shatter into a few smaller groups.
  • The crowds at the top are thick and vocal - just as they've been all race.
