  • Not surprisingly, the Levi Effect was in full force at the start.
  • It isn't long before an escape, animated by Maxime Bouet of AG2R, is up the road...
  • The peloton looks like it is speeding along, but the pace is leisurely; they'll let the break exceed an eleven minute lead.

  • Levi, marked closely by Horner, was near the front of the main bunch all day; the tape on his leg the most visible sign of his ongoing recovery.
