Can Sagan take his fifth stage of the race today? His Liquigas teammates are working hard to get him a chance.

  • The start today is on the affluent Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
  • Robbie McEwen is called up to the line for his last race as a pro.
  • An escape is forming along the route to the circuits; there will be 5 laps through downtown LA today.
  • The escape has decided to pass up a movie at Grauman's Chinese Theater.
  • Gesink is in good hands as his team lead the chase...
  • They also decide to pass on a musical at the Pantages...
  • On the circuits now, the peloton powers past the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
  • Orica Green Edge have moved to the front, along with Liquigas; the sprinters teams are looking to pull the break back.
  • With four laps to go, the break is hovering around a minute as the peloton passes the Staples Center in the LA Live area of Downtown.
  • The gap contines to shrink as the race passes City Hall.
